In the year 1890 Guccio started working as an Italian refugee at the Savoy Hotel in London. He found himself astonished by the gorgeous luggage bags those bags were different from the regular. In 1921 When Guccio was 40, he recognized his own company. Since day one, in Florence, he kept designing high quality products by hiring skilled craftsmen. The investors quickly appointed Tom Ford as the brand’s creative director. He released his first collection in 1995 bringing an over sexiness to his campaign and Gucci was back in Business. When Ford left the brand, passing on the reins to his successor Frida Giannini in 2006 the brand took another dip. Her designs grew increasingly uninspired and boring. Gucci’s clientele in 2015 Marco Bazar II took over as CEO appointing Alessandro Michele as a creative director. The Brand was recuperated overnight as soon as Michele presented a very lively, free spirit retro sensibility. The creation challenged gender norms. Renaissance art was showcased through the clothes that gave it attention worldwide.
